A Little History

Anchorage, a Detached Edwardian House with residents parking, is ideally situated for the Marinas, Water Front and the wide variety of Restaurants, Shops and Yacht Clubs to be found in the Charming Old Town of Cowes.

Acknowledged to be the hub of UK sailing and internationally renowned for Cowes Week, Little Britain, Commodores Cup and Admirals Regattas, this part of the Isle of Wight attracts yachting, power boating and cruising enthusiasts, with charter and bare boats available for holidays.

The attractive Town and Business Centre of Newport is approximately 3 miles south at the head of the Medina River. The scenic beauty of the Island from rolling countryside to sandy beaches are ready to be explored by car, or as cycling or walking holidays.

We are easily reached by Ferry from Southampton with Red Jet docking in Cowes itself and Red Funnel in East Cowes, and from Portsmouth with Wight Link coming into near by Fishbourne or crossing from Lymington to Yarmouth.

Supplements charged for single occupancy of a double room.

Deposit
A minimum of one nights accommodation per booking, non-refundable, the balance for longer stays is payable on arrival.
